Pet Policy
The following pet policy is established to ensure the enjoyment and safety of all of our guests.
- We all love to snuggle with our pets on the couch at home, but when visiting a Great Spot, please do not permit your pet up on any furniture or beds - please ensure the pet's bed is brought along for his or hers comfort.
- Please bring along your pet's towels to ensure he/she is clean and dried outside to avoid tracking in sand, dirt, water, mud, etc.
Nobody likes to be left alone, especially our pets - please do not leave your pet unattended at the property, unless securely crated.- To avoid damage to a property's floors, please have your pet's nails trimmed and smooth.
- For everyone's comfort and enjoyment, please ensure your pet is under control at all times and on a leash when outdoors. While you may know your pet very well and know that he/she is harmless, not everyone shares the same love of animals and may become easily frightened by a pet who barks or is not leashed.
- To prevent your family and others from stepping in anything unpleasant, please be sure to clean up after your pet at all times and dispose of any waste in an appropriate manner. If there are instructions left by the property owner, please ensure they are followed.
- To avoid attracting unwanted wildlife, do not leave pet food outside.
- We want your pet to have a relaxing holiday as well, please be sure your pet is current on vaccinations, on a flea control program, fully house trained and in good health.
- The property owner or their representative, reserves the right to terminate a stay, without refund, of any guest whose pet(s) are in violation of this policy, cause damage or harm to the property or neighbours' or are considered a nuisance.
| Your properties are absolutely beautiful. My husband and I are hoping to get away to relax with our two Norwich Terriers again this summer. It is good to see some properties allow small dogs. |

It is specified on each property listing as to whether pets are permitted or not, if you are uncertain, please feel free to ask. Any additional fees that are charged with respect to guests traveling with their pet are a reflection of the additional cleaning costs incurred by a property owner for accepting pets. The fee is not a financial penalty applied to the guest who is traveling with their pet.
If bringing your pet, please let us know something about him/her, i.e.: age, sex, breed, size, name - property owners like to know a bit about who is visiting their property.
If a property states “No” to pets, it is likely due to either the property owner or regular guests who suffer from pet allergies, or the property itself is just not appropriate for accommodating pets.
