Alders Plantation

“Alders Plantation” is a special character home, premised after the Mississippi River plantation homes. The plantation features include a hip roof with 520 sq. ft. covered verandah, four double French doors and weeping willow trees adorning the property. The extensively landscaped 1/2 acre property features over 250 flowering trees and shrubs, goldfish pond and four level waterfall. This executive home built in 1989, but recently ‘touched up’, is 1500 sq. ft. and situated on a small cul-de-sac, just five minutes walking distance to Ganges Village.

There is a spectacular view of Ganges Harbour and Mt. Baker from the house and from the 5-person hot tub located on the covered verandah framed by wisteria, clematis and honeysuckle. The house features 10’ ceilings with skylights, hardwood floors and brass features. The extensive gardens include fruit trees, rhubarb, cascade berries, raspberries, grape vines, kiwifruit, abundant flowers and beautiful trees. Open lawn in front of the house allows for a game of catch or badminton.
