Luxury Oceanfront Accommodation on Lasqueti Island BC Experience the natural beauty at our luxurious beach front retreat on beautiful Lasqueti Island. This 2009 custom built home is located on a unique 1.5 acre peninsula. Virtually surrounded by water, this locale offers spectacular ocean views and sunsets. Set amidst established cedar and pine trees you are as private as being on your own island, yet only a ten minute walk to the Lasqueti Island ferry.
This tranquil get away is the perfect escape. Enjoy spending time walking on the beach,swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, biking, beach combing, and much more.
BC Ferries reservations are recommended
Bed linens and bath towels provided, guests provide own beach towels.

Facilities:
This solar powered 3 bedroom home boasts 1000 square feet of finished space and new furnishings. The two main bedrooms have french doors opening onto sundecks. Facilities include a 4 piece main bathroom plus an ensuite. The living and dining areas and the modern, fully equipped kitchen are open plan with access to the deck for sunset open air dining. All rooms enjoy water views. CD stereo with ipod compatibility is available. The island has wireless internet access [user pay as you go] and cell phone coverage.Sleeping:
3 bedrooms: 1 with queen size bed; 1 with double bed; 1 with 2 bunks; and a 7ft by 8 ft tent platform in the yard.
Other Amenities:
Approximately an acre and a half of a waterfront peninsula with a 1000 feet plus of shoreline. As private as an island yet an easy ten minute walk to the ferry dock. The house is set amongst established cedars and pines, faces west and enjoys spectacular sunsets. The varied landscape offers lots of options- nooks, viewpoints, bluff and walk on beach. A new mooring was also installed in 2009, and is available if you are intending arriving on your own boatl Books, board games, horse shoes and bocce at low tide are all there. Canoe and aluminum row boat.
In the Area:
If you are restless, play some bocce at low tide or explore the island on foot, on bicycle, by Kayak or Canoe. Not so ambitious - chill out in a hammock with a book and hope to spot one of the frequent otter, eagle, heron or kingfisher visitors. Go for a dip before dinner and enjoy a BBQ on the deck as the sun sets. Pay a visit to the pub for a nightcap and a game of pool. If laundry service is required, there is a delivery service available from the Lasqueti ferry.Pets:

This property has a very varied landscape, walk on gravel beach, sandy flats at low tide, but also includes a couple of areas with bluffs of up to 20ft which are not appropriate for young unattended children.
Rates:
Last week of June until after Labour Day: $1500/wk or $2700 for two weeksMay until 3rd week of June and after Labour Day until end of October: $170/nt [2 night minimum] or $1000/wk
Rates based on 1-4 guests additional guests are $30 per person per night, to a maximum of 6 guests.
Rates are subject to the following:- 12% Harmonized Sales Tax [HST]
- If you choose the option of paying by credit card, 3% credit card fee only applies to amounts charged to your card
- $42 booking fee
