Soak in the hot tub, hike to the National Park, play golf or tennis, shop the art galleries and Farmer's Market, or just relax in the sun while watching the yachts and ships cruise past your comfortable deck! Unbeatable panoramic sunsets to Salt Spring Island and the mountains of Vancouver Island beyond! Did we mention whales? So close they swim right by the dock. This is West Coast living at it's best!
The large living room features floor to ceiling windows all around, grand piano, and quartz stone fireplace. Separate dining room seats 6. Large kitchen with sky light and ocean view. Master Suite with jetted tub and King size bed. Guest bedroom with double bed. Guest suite with queen bed and sitting area. Family room with entertainment center, DVD player and home theatre surround sound. Bonus room with wood burning stove and panoramic forest and ocean views for reading and relaxing. Laundry room. Croquet lawn and hot tub outdoors captures all the wildlife and ocean views.Access the water for Kayaks and Canoes via a pathway from the front of the house to the private dock. There is a 25 foot ramp leading to a 20 foot float that can accommodate boats up to 40 feet. The property location affords some of the best Kayaking routes in the Gulf Islands. All who bring their boats to Orca Pointe have been thrilled with the area in terms of scenery and wildlife.

There are 3 boat launches on North Pender, two of which provide easy access to our place. The most reliable is at Otter Bay Marina (www.otterbaymarina.ca), which is the first right after you exit the ferry terminal. A nominal fee applies. Thieves Bay Park has a boat launch with no fee, but it only is feasible at high tide because of mud at low tide. www.thievesbay.com, there is a map on that site showing the hazards of that marina which is a private marina for our homeowners' association.
