Satori is a concept from Zen Buddhism that roughly translates into individual enlightenment, where all mental activities will be more satisfying, peaceful, and full of joy than anything ever experienced before. The spring flowers will appear more vibrant and colorful and the mountain stream will run cooler and become more transparent. We have named our home Satori because we hope i
ts abundant natural beauty will inspire Satori in all who visit.Located on an acre of wooded waterfront property at Southey Point, the tranquil and exclusive northernmost tip of Salt Spring Island. The property is lowbank waterfront and offers a 270 degree sea view. Extensive decking adjoining the house leads to a built in hot tub and outdoor eating area.
It has many extras including a large entertainment sized living room with a panoramic ocean view and massive heatilator fireplace. The separate dining area opens to a deck which runs the full length of the house. A wooden spiral staircase leads upstairs to a spacious family room. The bedroom wing consists of a guest bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a small children's bedroom, and a master bedroom which opens on to decks and hot tub and includes its own sauna, and dressing room.
There is a 10 ft. X 36 ft. floating deep water dock, and a concrete launch ramp. A caretaker lives on the grounds in a cottage and is available to help guests with their needs

Having our own “private” bay was a treat that spoiled us tremendously – we swam, ran, hiked, cycled and kayaked – truly a vacation to remember. The house was absolutely spotless. It even passed my Mom's and Aunt's inspection which is a real accomplishment. The caretaker was also very helpful and was there to greet us with a nice welcome and of course we will definitely be back as we try to be every year... Creation at it's finest! A haven of peace-thank you for sharing this spot. We hope to be back to share the joy with more family and friends. Our expectations had been high but the house and its gorgeous setting surpassed even those expectations. The caretaker, Chuck, was very helpful and considerate. Thank you for your help in making this wonderful family holiday possible....it would be impossible to find a better location on the ocean front....the home is very beautiful and well equipped....absolutely spectacular....the accommodations were first class!...beautiful garden....a perfect dock for our boat..."
