This modern home has vaulted ceilings, double patio doors and large windows, providing magnificent uninterrupted views over the Trincomali channel. The views towards the Porlier Pass, Galiano and Valdez Islands can be enjoyed from the deck, patio, hot tub, living room, and even while preparing a meal in the well-equipped kitchen. If the days or evenings get chilly the large wood burning stove and an ample supply of dry logs keeps everything cozy.

3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (1 ensuite with shower, 1 with tub/shower), open-plan kitchen/dining/living area, full kitchen with electric stove and fridge, d/w, m/w, wood burning stove, w/d, TV with satellite, DVD player, VHS player, VHS video library, radio/CD player, full size digital piano, telephone, gas BBQ, deck/patio, garden furniture and large 7 seat hot tub. Although not a pet-friendly property, please enquire if you suffer pet allergies, as pets have visited this property in the past.*linens are supplied; but please bring your own bath towels & beach towels

Other Amenities:
Large 7 seat hot tub, natural rocky boat ramp, 2 canoes, 2 adult and 3 children’s life jackets, crab trap.THE CABIN - is also just feet from the water on the same 6 acres and approximately 60 feet from the main house. There is a small open-plan living area with it’s own wood burning stove. Separate bedroom with a double bed and a separate bathroom with a shower. The cabin makes an ideal extra private bedroom for additional friends or family if needed.

In the Area:
The Telegraph Harbor Marina, (http://www.telegraphharbour.com), houses a small shop and diner, where they sell delicious sandwiches, pizzas, coffee, ice creams and milkshakes. They also sell clothing, maps, gifts and local crafts etc. Open every day from May to October. There is a summer m
arket of local food and crafts from mid-May to mid-September in the Marina covered pavilion, every Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The Thetis Island Marina pub and restaurant is open throughout the year, (http://www.thetisisland.com). Next door to the pub is a liquor store, a post-office and shop, selling a variety of goods and groceries. Visit The Pot of Gold Coffee Roasting Company, (http://www.potofgoldcoffee.com), for the finest and freshest coffee, roasted on the premises. The Telegraph Harbor Inn Equestrian Centre close to the ferry offers excellent riding lessons and training programs, (250 246 2810). Near the Marina, Marilyn’s Kusina sells the finest local meats, bread, cakes, vegetables and home made pies and baked goods…, just leave your money in the honesty box. The nearest town is a 30 minute ferry ride back to Chemainus on Vancouver Island but within walking distance of the ferry terminal in Chemainus is: Mt. Brenton golf course, famous murals, restaurants, theatre and shopping.

Summer High season – July thru Labour Day:House: $1600/wk.
House + Cabin:$1900/wk.
Summer season – May, June and September:
House: $1400/wk.
House + Cabin:$1600/wk.
Spring Break, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years:
House: $1200/wk
House + Cabin: $1400/wk

Balance of year – October to April:
House: $800/wk or $200/night (3 night minimum)
House + Cabin: $1000/wk or $300 (3 night minimum)
Saturday to Saturday
Cabin is available only in conjunction with House [cabin is not available on it's own]
Rates are subject to the following:
- 12% Harmonized Sales Tax [HST]
- If you choose the option of paying by credit card, 3% credit card fee only applies to amounts charged to your card
- $42 booking fee

It is a lovely place...We really enjoyed the property, which fully lived up to expectations. Lovely spot and a very well equipped home. Remarkably quiet and tranquille....we had an amazing time at the Shorehill Cottage! What a beautiful spot! My kids loved it and we saw so much wildlife! Please tell the owners that we truly appreciated our getaway and we look forward to coming back again, perhaps in the winter if it is available then...Just wanted to send you a BIG thanks for going that extra mile. We really did have a great time...
