This wonderful, stylish house is privately situated on 2 acres of high, east-facing waterfront property with a magnificent view up Desolation Sound of mountains and islands. The owner lives in a secluded studio nearby. Located on the south point of Cortes Island, it is close to Manson’s Landing with its grocery store and cafe.

Perimeter trees provide complete privacy with plenty of sunny areas, a lawn and garden. A trail leads down a fairly steep bank, through a grove of large fir trees, to a rocky beach where there are plenty of clams and oysters for the picking. There is a beautiful sandy beach just a short walk along the beach.

This approx. 1000 sq. ft. custom-built cedar house is full of charm and ideal for a romantic getaway or a quiet retreat. Hardwood floors of Russian birch are used throughout the open plan living room, dining and kitchen area. The feeling is one of casual comfort with style

*linens & bath towels are provided; renters must supply own beach towels

Sleeping:

2 bedrooms, upstairs - queen bed, glass door opening onto upper deck, downstairs - double bed, skylight and french doors opening onto private deck
