us 3700 sq. ft. log farmhouse has 180 deg. views over the ocean and islands across to Chemainus on Vancouver Island.The character farmhouse has a turn of the century interior with leaded glass windows and doors, antique light fixtures and furnishings, including a cast iron bathtub and a heritage wood cook stove, both in working order. You will feel that you have stepped back in time! The Great Room boasts a huge river stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and a wide expanse of glass windows revealing an uninterrupted view of the ocean. A large cedar deck wraps around the front of the house and encompasses a potted garden, hot tub, grape trellis seating and BBQ area, a gold fish pond and a porch swing...relax and watch our fantastic sunsets! This is very much a family home and, whilst providing very comfortable accommodations for couples, with the large (approx. 600 sq. ft.) 3rd floor loft (with its own bathroom), it is also the perfect Great Spot for a small family reunion or two families wanting to share a vacation. A few friendly sheep and a pet donkey await your visit.
NOTE: There is a small cabin behind the house occupied on occasion by a single person - this does not in any way infringe on renters’ privacy
