t, fully equipped cottage has an easy-living open plan and is set in a parklike setting. There is easy access across the road to the bay, where there is a boat dock for kayaks and small boats. Larger boats can be tied up at the public dock across the bay.This charming cottage is located on the same 1.75 acre wooded property as the house described as The Wheatleys Country Home, and would provide ideal extra accommodation when rented in conjunction with the larger house.
You can enjoy a view of Whaler's Bay from the sunroom, which expands into the kids sleeping
quarters. The second bedroom is ideal for children with a set bunk beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and dining and living areas with a vaulted ceiling. Skylights overhead, wood stove and washer and dryer make this a cozy choice for all your needs.A fenced garden area, outside deck for barbecuing and relaxing and a front porch overlooking the meadow completes the picture.
This property is conveniently located close to the Sturdies Bay ferry dock, galleries, shops, beaches and markets. Kayakers and guests arriving by boat may use our private dock. Larger boats can moor at the public dock across the Bay.
It is ideal for couples, or a small family. It has a private fenced garden area for BBQing, eating and children playing in the sandbox. Pets are welcome. Open year-round
