Watch the resident otters, seals, a wide variety of birds, such as Eagles and Ospreys and glorious sunsets from the decks or from the comfort of the house.
The beach can be accessed by either a brief scramble down the bank from the property or by a short walk along the road to Spring Bay. Both access points are good for swimming and for strolling along the waters edge. Maple Bay is within walking distance along the shoreline and you can beach comb for treasures on your way. Oysters and clams can be harvested from the beach at Maple Bay.
Spring Bay and surrounding bays on Lasqueti are perfect for kayaking and swimming. The Fegans and the Finnerty Islands are within easy paddling distance from the property.
Access to Lasqueti is by passenger Ferry only and this just adds to the adventure. Please click link directly below for more information.

Facilities:
2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom on second floor, 1 bathroom with shower, sink and toilet on main floor, open plan living/dining/kitchen, gas stovetop and oven, microwave, dishwasher, TV, DVD and VCR players, battery operated radio/CD player, lots of games, wood stove (wood provided) Gas BBQ, telephone, gas generator, decks at various levels all providing different vistas. We keep a good supply of movies on DVD.* Towels and bed linens provided, renters must supply own beach towels. Fishing licenses may be purchased at French Creek and are required to harvest oysters and clams.

Queen size bed with pillow top mattress in each bedroomSofa bed in sitting room off the main living area.
Other Amenities:
The owners provide a pickup truck for your use while you are on the island (gas for the truck is the responsibility of the guest)
In the Area:
The Lasqueti Island Hotel, approximately 5 kms from the house, features a pub, restaurant and the island’s only gas station. They also sells some groceries and offer takeout pizza. The Bakery sells bread and goodies and opening hours vary. Crystals and Camomile Gift Store carries neat gifts and cards. Mary Jane’s has fresh baked goodies and basic groceries, Friday night is Pizza night and they also prepare breakfasts and lunches. Roadside stalls abound offering flowers, fruit, eggs and veggies for sale and a Farmer’s Market is usually held each Saturday, during the summer months.Kayaks are also available for rent on the Island.

June 1-after Labour Day: $1400/wk; $200/nt [1 week min. July/Aug - 3 nt. min. June & Sept.]Balance of the year: $1000/wk; $145/nt [3 nt. min.]
Above rates are based on 1-4 guests - the 4th and 5th guests are $25 per person /per night

- 12% Harmonized Sales Tax [HST]
- If you choose the option of paying by credit card, 3% credit card fee only applies to amounts charged to your card
