This 1440 sq. ft. chalet is privately located on a beautiful naturally forested property on crystal clear Gun Lake. The house is set on a rocky outcrop overlooking the beach - designed to take best advantage of the outstanding views and the setting. It has 3 bedrooms & bathroom upstairs - all with vaulted, cedar lined ceilings. House coats are provided so that guests can comfortably go from shower to the large hot tub on the front deck, overlooking the lake.Gun Lake is approx. 5 miles long and 3/4 mile across. A 12’ aluminum boat with motor is provided by the owner for those who want to troll for Rainbow Trout, Kokanee or Dolly Varden. The lake is also excellent for swimming, water skiing, and wind surfing.....or just sun yourself on the dock or enjoy a picnic on the large grassy area next to the small private sandy beach with gradual entry to the lake - perfect for kids. There are horseback rentals in the area and lots of trails for hiking or nature walks.
In the winter x-country and helicopter skiing is available as well as excellent snowmobile trails. Helicopters can be rented for air tours or to start a day hike at the top. Explore long abandoned mining operations. 4 wheel drive the many logging roads to find that remote fishing spot. This is a spectacular getaway in all seasons......
