You will reach this 1100 sq. ft. sunny, west-facing lakeside cottage after a 5 ½ hour drive through
breathtaking scenery. Whether you drive through the Fraser Canyon or take the Coquihalla, the scenery cannot be beaten anywhere in B.C. You will be impressed with this beautiful, well-kept ½ acre property that includes a children’s log playhouse on the property.The house has 2 huge decks overlooking a secluded and protected bay. The property is gently sloping to the lakeshore for easy and safe access. There is excellent swimming off the private dock/swim platform or from the pebbly beach into the crystal clear water – as well, water-skiing is permitted on the lake.
Sheridan Lake fluctuates in temperature based on the weather. If it's sunny and warm during June/July the lake will warm up to 70 degrees. This makes the swimming very comfortable. The owners swim without wetsuits and are always in the lake..on sunny days of course.
The fishing is best in May, June and September. However, the owners have fished from the dock and see fish swimming by. Several trout have been caught in their bay. Some fish are caught in July and August. There was a 17 lb rainbow caught by a 15 year old in August a couple years ago [2007]. The average trout is 3-4 lbs in size. Rainbow Trout are abundant in the lake.There is also a 12' aluminum boat that can be used to paddle out for fishing.

3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom tub/shower, open-plan kitchen/living/dining area, full kitchen with electric stove and fridge, m/w, am/fm radio/cassette/CD player, satellite dish [over 200 channels] and 26" TV, VCR, DVD, telephone, woodburning stove (firewood provided), large sun room, telescope on stand; 2 gorgeous decks with deck furniture, gas BBQ; fire pit on beach*Renters must provide own bed linens, bath and beach towels
Sleeping:
3 bedrooms, 1 with queen bed, the other two have doubles and 1 roll away cot and 2 optional fold out cots.
Other Amenities:
private dock with swim ladder, small rowboat with oars, lifejackets, children’s log playhouse, public boat launch is close by, laundromat is close by. Motorboat shown in photo is not part of the rental.In the Area:
Walking distance to Sheridan Lake Store, Info. center, café and gas station; Laundromat, Pub, Hardware Store 5 kms; Lone Butte, 20 kms.; 100 Mile House, medical care, drug stores & churches, 35 kms.The lake has excellent fishing and is renowned for its well-stocked and large rainbow trout. In the evening enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the decks or sit around the fire pit at the beach roasting marshmallows (when local fire restrictions not in effect)

The owners of Sheridan Dreams will consider a well-behaved, fully house trained dog under proper supervision - Please refer to the Pet Policy section for further information.
Rates:
June to September [until after Labour Day]: $1300/wk.mid to end of May, mid Sept to end of October: $1100/wk
mid-October to mid-May, the cottage is not available as it is winterized
Sunday to Sunday
Rates are subject to the following:
- 12% Harmonized Sales Tax [HST]
- If you choose the option of paying by credit card, 3% credit card fee only applies to amounts charged to your card
- $42 booking fee
