You will reach this lovely, well-built, 1400 sq. ft. lakefront cottage after a 5-hour drive through breathtaking scenery. Whether you drive through the Canyon or past Whistler, the trip is spectacular. And when you arrive, you drive to within 100 metres of the property, park across the train tracks and then you have an easy staircase down from the train tracks leading straight to the cottage.The cottage is right on the lake - just open the french doors onto the deck and the water is right in front of you. - and it is attractively and comfortably furnished and is very well equipped. From the large south facing deck, with an old apricot tree growing through to provide shade from the hot summer sun, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Seton Lake and the mountains.
The beach is 110 ft. of pea gravel and there is a private dock with a ladder for easy access for swimming. With a public boat launch 1 km away by road, you can bring your boat and enjoy water sports (water skiing, windsurfing) and fishing (for Dolly Varden and rainbow trout)
A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for the drive to this property because of the climbing and descent over Mission Mountain. Also, there is no garbage pick up in this area and everyone is required to take away their garbage/recycling.
