Experience your "Ultimate Getaway" in the southern Chilcotins. Imagine yourself relaxing in one of these gorgeous south-east facing log homes on Tyaughton Lake (also see 7-A-5-1 and 7-A-5-3). The chalets are all fully equipped and comfortably furnished with all bedding and towels provided for your convenience. In summer you can spend your days fishing, swimming, boating, sightseeing, alpine hiking or mountain biking.In winter, you may find yourself cross-country skiing in the morning and in the afternoon with your feet up by the fire reading a good book.
Each of the cabins has an impressive river rock woodburning fireplace. Experts rate the southern Chilcotins as having some of the finest snowmobiling and heliskiing in the Pacific North West. Ice fishing and skating are right at your door step too. Horseback riding and snowmobile rentals are nearby and if you wish, the owner’s agent in the area will be happy to help you organize these activities. She also has some ice skates for your use - check for sizes and each cabin has the use of a canoe.
The owner’s agent can arrange for personal laundry to be done at a nominal fee and crib and high chair are available upon request. This gorgeous, 1800 sq. ft., 4 years’ old log home is situated on a 2 acre property right on the lake with approx. 200’ of lakefront. The lakefront is shared with Chalet No. 3 (which is set on its own 2 acres adjoining and behind this property). From the cabin and its lakeside deck enjoy the beautiful view across the lake to the mountains beyond.
