Nestled amongst towering fir and pine trees, this charming private residence is situated on 1/3 of an acre on beautiful Kootenay Lake, just 25 kms. east of Nelson. The property slopes gently to 80’ of shallow/pebbly beach and is south-facing, so enjoys a warm and sunny aspect. Large windows in the open design living space on the main floor overlook a secluded beach, frequented by merganzers, osprey and eagles. 
A 3/4 covered deck off the living room is a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening barbeque and provides a lovely view over Sunshine Bay. The master bed-sitting room occupies most of the lower floor and walks out at beach level. A large office/studio, complete with desk and credenza, affords the artist or author a quiet skylit space for creative endeavours.

While a row boat is provided here that would suffice for fishing close to this house, there are also two local charter outfits that take care of everything.
