This quaint 3 bedroom 1 level cottage is newly built on tranquil Pinantan Lake. It is located about 4 hours from Vancouver via the scenic Coquihalla Highway and just 25 minutes from Kamloops.Our cottage offers large windows for maximum natural light. Radiant floor heating and a wood stove allow for a cozy warmth in the winter. A steady lake breeze, open floor plan and 2 ceiling fans offer a natural coolness even in the warmest of summer days.
A southern exposure and dry sunny summers allow for maximum sun bathing on either our private dock or on our very large sun deck. There is also a large BBQ and patio set for enjoyment. Please note: The landscaping is still rustic (not finished in the front and partial in the back).

Facilities:
The cottage has a full kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, wood stove [guests to provide own wood], and a stacking washer/dryer. The DVD/Video player, TV, and high speed internet available for your convenience in the living room.
Sleeping:
There is a large queen size bed in the master bedroom, 1 double (sleeps 2) in the guest bedroom and 2 twin beds in the kids bedroom.Other Amenities:
There is a small washer and dryer available and the well water is fully filtered and treated. We also offer a bottled water cooler. The cottage also has a full kitchen with stove, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, DVD/Video player, TV, and high speed internet available for your convenience. Although we don't have a canoe yet there is a small boat launch next door if you have a boat to launch (electric motors only). There is a small camp fire area in the backyard. Please refer to this web site for fire restrictions in Kamloops area - small camp fires are permitted but this changes as the summer progresses. Guest provide their own fire wood and abide by all requirements in regards with campfires.
In the Area:
Summer Activities can include swimming off our private dock, fishing, hiking, and boating (electric motors only). Horseback riding is available at near by Jandana Ranch, a 3 min. drive up the hill. Winter Activities can include ice fishing, cross country skiing out the back door, skiing at Harper Mountain (15 mins) and Sun Peaks (1.5 hrs), and snowmobiling.
Pets:
The owners of Jewel By The Lake may consider a dog. Please refer to the Pet Policy section for further information. We are a pet friendly home but please one pet only and you must clean up after you pet, and you are responsible for any damage your pet may cause. Please keep your pet off all furniture / beds. Our back yard is fenced if you like to let your dog outside.

Children are more than welcome.
Rates:
mid-June to mid-September: $1200/wkBalance of year: $800/wk or $150/night min. 2 night stay.
