This Provencal-style home has a spectacular waterfront setting on 150’ of sandy beach in a protected cove on Skaha Lake - one of Canada’s warmest lakes. The house is westward facing and the sunsets are spectacular. It was built by a French winemaker who started one of the early wineries in the Okanagan.The serene and very private property is large ( about 2/3 of an acre) and slopes gently to the lake. The water is shallow and ideal for young children.
The lake and beach can be viewed from each room of the house and its many decks. The property is attractively landscaped with numerous fruit trees and pines. There are extensive decks and patios as well as large areas of lawn for children to play. The interior and exterior of the house are well-maintained. The house is away from the road, probably about 200 ft. The property is about 2/3rds of an acre, and the house is set low on the property, just above the lake. The property slopes from the road down to the lake. Also there is a grove of about 25 mature jack pine trees between the house and the road. The road is not heavily traveled. There is very little noise. It is serene and quiet.
For the serious chef, there is an outdoor stone BBQ and in the kitchen there is a woodburning oven. The living room has a massive fireplace if the nights are cool. As well as having a second-to-none location in summer, this is a wonderful Great Spot all year round. In winter, Apex Mountain Resort (rated "Best Small Destination Resort" by Ski Canada Magazine) has some of the greatest skiing in North America and is just 40 mins. by car.This two level vacation home can sleep eight people very comfortably. We allow a maximum of six adults (older than 19) or four adults and up to four children (younger that 19). It is great spot for up to three couples or two families.

on the main level: 2 bedrooms, 1 with queen, 1 with a set of bunk beds (single on top, double on bottom), queen futon in area of dining room. As well, there is a 1000 sq. ft. finished basement with 3 bedrooms - 2 with queen-sized beds and 1 room with 2 single beds
