This charmingly appointed 2 bedroom cottage is a perfect place for a tranquil getaway. It is located on a small acreage on the Shuswap River in the mountains near Mabel Lake. It is furnished with antique Victorian furniture, it has an English country garden, and a pastoral setting which includes views of meadows, streams, river and mountains.The owners enjoy meeting new people and sharing information on the many activities which the area has to offer -- you could even have your portrait done for free by the owner. At the same time, the cottage offers privacy to its occupants. Activities in the area include fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming in the Shuswap River, swimming and other water sports at nearby Mabel Lake, hiking, high country trips, 1 hour hiking trail up the mountain and ecological tours.
