Giant cedars frame the winding driveway to this lovely home, built in 1927 by famed naturalist,
Allan Brooks, on a secluded one acre site only a few minutes walk from the beach, nearby parks and downtown Comox. From the sundeck, the lower patio or the campfire in the forest you can feed apples to the local deer who daily wander across the lawns.Walk to town on a delightful trail through MacDonald Wood forest and over Brooklyn Creek to enjoy the many local restaurants and pubs or to buy fresh seafood at the Marina. On your way you pass beautiful Filberg Lodge, its 9 acres of ocean front gardens and rustic log buildings open to the public year round.
In the evening, after a day at the beach, in the mountains or at Comox Lake, relax by the fire, read a book from the extensive library, enjoy the art collection, as well as the warm fir floors and delightful finishes of this two story, 2750 square foot heritage home.

Beach access is either a 5 minute walk to Croteau Beach, or 10 minute walk to Goose Spit Regional Park [beach].
Bed linens and bath & beach towels provided.
