Vancouver Island, Comox Vacation Rental

This great 3 bedroom, 3100 sq. ft. open style home boast a beautiful private yard with extensive gardens and fruit trees. Waterfront forest with walking trails on one side, ocean with gorgeous sandy beaches, fire pits and great swimming on the other. A 2 minute walk from the house through a trail lands you at the Spit. Or across the street, a short road access takes you to the Bay where you can canoe or kayak to the end of the Spit and swim in clear clean water and enjoy the sandy beach. The bay is home to many shore birds, seals, blue herons and has eagles soaring overhead.

Enjoy ocean views from the master bedroom and the outdoor second floor terrace which is off the master bedroom of this south west facing home. This terrace is fashioned off the Italian garden terraces with huge flower boxes surrounding it (see photo).

This area of Comox is known around the area as one of the most desirable locations because of it’s proximity to ocean and forest; with a rural setting – and only minutes away from town and all it's conveniences (restaurants, tennis, shopping et al).

There is a small cabin at the back of the property that is rented to a very quiet young tenant who can answer any questions about the house, locations or desired activities.

In the Area:

“The Spit” is miles of gorgeous sandy beach with great swimming and fire pits.

“The Northeast Woods” is several blocks away and it has miles of forested mountain biking trails for all levels of competence. Many people walk or jog in there as well.

1 km away there are excellent restaurants, hospital, golf course, tennis courts.

Strathcona Park is 40 minutes away and it provides excellent hiking in the mountains with fresh water swimming in numerous lakes.

Mt. Washington, also 40 minutes away, provides excellent family skiing, both downhill and cross country, with snowboard parks.
