For an elegant and unique getaway in a beautiful, owner-designed and built log home, this 8 acre forested property on the high banks of the Englishman River is a must. Spring Place is the perfect escape for a romantic hideaway – or is a wonderful destination for a family vacation.The spectacular south-facing 2300 sq. ft. open-concept home with high vaulted ceiling and exquisite indoor solarium with fishpond, is a serene refuge for rest and relaxation in any season and is wheelchair friendly.
The house is tastefully and attractively furnished in a simple but elegant fashion and has beautiful Persian and oriental rugs. It is set in a “forest glade” of large trees through which there is a lovely view over the slanted hills of the river valley toward 5400’ Mt. Moriarty in the distance (you can hear, but not see, the river from the house). Treat yourself to a morning walk in Englishman River Falls Park which is just 5 minutes away, a picnic by the sea, a round of golf and theatre.
Top off your day with a hot tub under the stars on the glass covered deck, or enjoy a delicious Jacuzzi soak in the master bathroom. The property is located in close proximity to Parksville and Qualicum Beach with easy access to the full variety of amenities and attractions offered by this popular Central Vancouver Island area. The famous Pacific Rim National Park is just a 2-hour drive to the west.

Please note: the owner lives on the same property [in a separate house] and can answer / assist with any questions about the area etc, and fully respects your privacy at all times.*towels and bed linens provided

"...Thank you again for your perfect service. We were definitely taken aback and our eyes grew larger and larger when arriving at Spring Place. We travel a lot and have seen very beautiful residences, but, this is absolutely "one Great Spot"! A wonderful Log Home in a perfect rural setting. Very comfy, very large with wonderful open spaces. My parents in law enjoyed the master bedroom and the adjacent "spa bathroom" - our kids loved the gardens and the hot tub - we had very enjoyable family dinners at the handmade BBQ log-table on the terrace - if we hadn't already reserved and paid our house elsewhere, we definitely would have asked you to stay 2 more weeks at Spring Place! - What a wonderful house!...Thanks for yet another wonderful spot - we have just come back from Spring Place by Parksville and it was absolutely wonderful - the property is beautiful, the owner was generous and we had a great time...This is truly the most beautiful place I have ever seen....Thanks for creating this oasis of serenity....This place is so peaceful, relaxing and beautiful, thank you for an awesome stay, our family hopes we can come stay here again. I enjoyed playing the piano, sitting in the hot tub and the walks through the woods....You have truly created a place of magic and inspired us to build our own...We hope to be back next year...Fantastic place, beautiful home, very relaxing [even with kids!], we will be back... Sacred space and functional space have seldom come together so beautifully.
